Berkeley lost Half Price Books. I'm devastated personally. Closing bookstores and libraries is a sign of a society in decay. Some would say, apocalyptic.

This is still the best bookstore you will find in the area. Drop by Brookfield to get some cool stuff.

We'll stay open for long time - the company is good - I can talk only about Austin, Half Price Books is a good and reputable company

Last day is open is Sept. 5. They are no longer buying used books. So sorry to see this store close!
